Things may be a little quiet on my end, but that's because I'm out of the office traveling! I will be making a first stop in Queenstown, New Zealand to capture Ash and Holly's amazing wedding and then my hubby and I are taking a little break and will be relaxing in the great outback of Australia.
I promise to respond to your emails as soon as I can upon my return to the office - Monday, February 20th.
And to hold you over until February, I thought I would post some film yumminess.

Sometimes it is important to shoot just because you feel like it. I went to Dallas in December to visit my cousin and the leaves were changing and everything was so beautiful. I had to drag her outside for some fun shots! I convinced her with promises of new facebook profile pics. :) They just bring a smile to my face, so I thought I would share...

This is totally personal, but I can't help but shout it from the rooftops! My sister Cindy and her hubby Chris just had their first boy (the first grandchild!) on October 31st and have officially made me an "Auntie." I'm so thrilled and so excited for them! Can't wait to hold and cuddle with him, but since he is so far away in South Africa, I will have to live with constantly looking at the cute pics that are sent my way. Isn't he ADORABLE?!

For anyone who is not as obsessed with instagram as I am, you may not have seen my plethora of driving pictures that I have been posting lately. I stared at the open road a lot this past month going back and forth between my old home and my new home. I have actually learned to enjoy these rides - lots of time to listen to audio books, a beautiful view of the sunset and time to think and be thankful. I am thankful to all of my amazing clients that welcome me into their lives and allow me to capture such an intimate moment. I'm thankful for my adorable hubby and my kittens that love to cuddle. And I'm thankful my apple pie turned out delicious on Thanksgiving. What more could a girl ask for??
