A little over a month ago, I had the amazing opportunity to attend Jasmine Star's Workshop. I have already shared with you my slight (okay, maybe big) obsession with blogs. Well, one I frequent often is Jasmine*'s blog. One day as I was drinking my coffee and making my way to her blog, I stopped in my tracks. She. was. having. a. workshop. I immediately signed up.
A few months later, I was off to the O.C. in sunny California and I had the most amazing day ever. Jasmine is incredibly open, honest and patient while answering everyone's questions and offering TONS of amazing advice on how to market and brand your photography business. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to learn.
While attending the workshop, we had the opportunity to do a photoshoot with the beautiful couple, Brittany and Zach. They were both incredibly gorgeous and loving. Here are some of the shots:

Happy HAPPY Birthday!!! My sister Cindy may be halfway around the world in Cape Town, South Africa, but that doesn't mean her birthday is any less special!! I have no way of actually calling my lovely sister and hearing her voice...or her hearing me belt out a britney-esque version of Happy Birthday!! So I thought I would post one of my favorite pictures in memory. I love you Cindy! (she's all the way to the right - can you guess which one is me?)

Cynthia Schweer:
Thank you dear Sister! I love this pic - reminds me of good times with the best sisters I could ask for. Missing you bunches on this side of the planet. xoxo Cindy

Hmmm. I wonder who the photographer was on that shot. I bet it was before we had digital photography.

I am VERY excited to give a formal introduction to the most precious feline in our life: Babygirl. Several years ago, my now husband was cleaning out his PawPaw's shed and found a tiny little white cat. She had a little spot of oil in between her eyes and was slightly, but lovingly, cross-eyed. She looked up into his eyes and he was instantly sold. She now has him completely and utterly wrapped around her "paw". So without further ado...meet Babygirl.

margaret lee:
i love it! you need to put that video of her scooping water from that glass...so funny!

In the beginning there was a girl. And a camera. And a dream.
At the risk of sounding super corny, I'm excited to say that as I type these words, I am fufilling a dream...a little dream I had to be able to join the world of blogs. I have to admit it is an intimidating world, but there is no sense in postponing it any longer because of my fears. I'm just going to dive in head first! So here I am. Love me. Hate me.
So here is a little sneak peek into my world of photography... I had the amazing opportunity to shoot Angela & Efren's wedding on Saturday at the beautiful Paraiso Maravilla.
