The Lovelies is a brand new, super cute award blog dedicated to nominating and voting for the best of the best blogs and shops on the internet, started by the Lovely Clusters.
SOOOOOOoooooo...normally, I wouldn't ask or outright BEG people to do something for me, but I will be MOST appreciative if you run over to the blog now and either twitter or comment a vote for me. Seriously, I will cry myself to sleep if I only get 5 votes. Just kidding, but I would love your support!
Click here to vote. You can vote by either commenting on my page (at the link previously mentioned) and/or twittering using the widget at the bottom of each submission.
Thank you again, Anna, for adding me to mix with so many talented bloggers and photographers!

It forced me to stop for a moment, just a moment or two in time, and breathe. Enjoy. Live.
Sometimes I forget that this is my one chance at life and although I am so thankful I am able to do what I love, I still need to always remember that amid my to do lists, is life. Enjoy it. Cherish it. Breathe in. Breathe out.

As we were leaving the religions ceremony on Sunday night from Erum and Aman's wedding, I stumbled upon these electric colors in the sky. Even the street lamp added to the fire. Sunsets make my heart happy.
Happy Thursday :)

I have been starting to take a pen to paper lately to write down my goals for 2010. If you don't physically write down goals every year, you need to start. There is something about that physical act, seeing it written down in ink that forces me to make them come true. For me, my goals surround being true to who I am, continuing to grow as a photographer in any way possible and doing whatever I do that day to my fullest. I'm holding these goals close to my chest and keeping them hot on my mind. I will make them come true this year and maybe (just MAYBE) I will surpass them all. A girl can dream, right?
What are your goals for 2010?
And because a post is always better with a picture, this is where all the action happens for me...
good for you Julie! I'm a strong believer in writing your goals down. I completed a vision board on New Years Eve; I can't wait to see what this year holds for us. All the best and good luck! :-)
(01.12.10)you're so awesome julie! i still have my red and black notebook we bought at target in california. it holds all my notes and all my goals. it's getting a little rough around the edges but one day we're going to read everything we plan to accomplish and enjoy a bottle of fine wine because we did it!
