Sometimes it is important to shoot just because you feel like it. I went to Dallas in December to visit my cousin and the leaves were changing and everything was so beautiful. I had to drag her outside for some fun shots! I convinced her with promises of new facebook profile pics. :) They just bring a smile to my face, so I thought I would share...

I have a talented designer friend named August. He is the genius behind all of my branding (everything you see here or receive from me!). I don't know what I would do without him, so I have sworn that he has photography for life. I will be there anytime, anywhere. I have been lucky enough to shoot bridals for his oldest daughter Ashlie, graduation portraits for his daughter Meagan and then before I left Houston, we were able to take some portraits of his youngest - Jake. Jake has striking eyes and a serious smile. I tried dancing around like a maniac and making a complete fool out of myself and Jake would give me a small smile. Tickling finally won him over!

What better way to celebrate a Friday than posting a newborn session?! Little baby Harper makes my heart melt. All of her little fingers and toes are just so precious - as is her entire family!
