Another busy weekend coming to a close...this time I captured the beautiful wedding of Helenita and Danny. I love that they got married at a place that is unique and special to them - her parent's gorgeous home. They literally transformed the ground floor of the house and the entire backyard into a intimate party for their friends and family. And Helenita warned me that their family was made up of "dancing queens," but I had no idea how true that statement was. So many fun images to share, but I wanted to share a personal favorite of a private moment I was able to capture right after the ceremony.

Another whirlwind weekend behind me and I am just starting to recover. I had so much fun being a part of Anita & Sarfaraz's beautiful wedding weekend! The celebrations began with the mehndi and ended with the big reception on Saturday night at the Stafford Centre.
I'm working hard on the images and just wanted to share one of my personal favorites. I was able to sneak away with the two of them right after the Nikkah, which is the religious ceremony where they are officially named husband and wife. Such beautiful light and a happy moment...

I have been dying to share these images with you! Siophain and Alan's wedding at the breathtaking Woodlawn Manor was magical. Not only is the couple adorable and so happy to be together, but the location and all of the details that Siophain's carefully planned came together perfectly. It was a dream for me as the photographer! Enjoy some of my favorites (ok, a LOT of my favorites)...

it is REALLY HARD to decide which image i like best!!! i love the tree trunks on the desert table OF COURSE...love the mustaches and all the cute little details. she looks FLAWLESS of course and they look SO HAPPY!

Some pictures take my breath away. I remember the moment that I took the picture, as two people are celebrating their lives coming together...the energy and excitement in the air is palpable. As I am culling through the images after the wedding day, certain pictures just make me stop. This one made me stop.
Last weekend, I made the trek up to the Washington DC area to shoot Siophain and Alan's wedding at the gorgeous Woodlawn Manor. I was in love with the location...lots of cracks, texture and character in the old house and the surrounding grounds. I can't wait to show you more images, but first I wanted to give you a little taste.
