Shakeel and Neelam had an amazing weekend filled with friends, family, good food and great celebration. I had so much fun being a part of all of it. I love South Asian weddings because it doesn't stop with just one day, I get to be a part of the many traditions leading up to the big day AND the big party following it. All of it filled with love and family - there is nothing better than that.
My journey started with Neelam at her house two days before the big day to join her mehndi party. Check out the first of three big posts full of goodness...

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting the tiny and adorable baby Piper. She came into this world a little earlier than expected, therefore at three weeks old her tiny fingers and toes still look like she was just born. Heaven!
Proud parents Mimi, Jeff and big brother Cameron welcomed me into their home and worked hard to help me get her to fall fast asleep. We were then able to grab some pics! I think it was worth our patience. :) Enjoy some of my favorites...

Now that Alex and Allison's wedding has safely passed, I am allowed to blog Allison's bridal session. Hands down, she was absolutely STUNNING. Not only that, but she just happens to live next door to an incrediblly kind and sharing neighbor who let us use their house as our playground. As you can see, their house was the perfect spot. Enjoy some of my favorites!

I have many weddings that I look forward to shooting throughout the year, but I have been waiting with bated breath for Allison & Alex's wedding. Not only is the couple absolutely adorable, but the wedding took place at an intimate and unique location - Allison's home! Their backyard was literally transformed into another world and was a photographer's dream. I promise more pictures are coming soon, but I couldn't wait to post a sneak peek of a quiet moment with just the two of them...

Congratulations Allison & Alex!

I'm a girl. And we girls love all things dainty and mini. That's why I am obsessed with mini cards. I get a lot of questions from people I talk to about what my mini cards are that I offer in my collections. They are adorable little cards (literally no bigger than a stick of gum) that highlight 10 of the best engagement or bridal photos taken from the couples portrait session (come in packs of 100). On the back shares the information on how to access the gallery of the couple's wedding images. Most often, my couples use the cards at their sign in table for guests to grab on their way in or out. But I have also had a couple include in their thank you cards. Either way, it is a fun way to give a piece of you to your guests!

PS These unbelievably adorable bags were made my amazing mother-in-law. And I won't give you her number, because I'm keeping her to myself! Just kidding. Rhonda - you are amazing! :)
