Sunday was our final day together and it was bittersweet. Everyone seemed to be coming off a high from the night before and they were tired, happy and sad that the final day had arrived. This was the day that Nirmeen's family said goodbye to her and sent her off to be with her new family. It is nicknamed the "crying day" and it lived up to it's name. Everyone was happy and relaxed, but as soon as her family began to hug her goodbye, there was no stopping the tears. The love was all around...from the family Nirmeen grew up with and from the family who is her new beginning.
Congratulations Nirmeen & Aly! It was such a pleasure to be a part of your celebration. I know you guys will have a beautiful life together.
